This committee develops ways to involve homeless or very low-income people in positive and affirming activities in downtown Morgantown as part of the Coordinating Council on Homelessness. This group coordinates community-wide efforts to reduce homelessness; develops a common agenda among service providers; creates data sharing and measurement standards; facilitates continuous open communication; keeps all agencies aligned with the common agenda; advocates on behalf of persons experiencing homelessness; and promotes community awareness and involvement in addressing homelessness.

Dawn’s boundless energy, optimism and hard work inspire her friends and colleagues every day, yet she seeks no recognition for herself. She deserves some.
